Reasons families call

When around-the-clock support may help

  • Safety supervision: fall risk, frequent toileting, or unsafe to be alone.
  • Memory support: wandering, sundowning, or disorientation.
  • Post-discharge support: high-support weeks after hospital or rehab.
  • Family relief: full coverage to reduce burnout and restore rest.

If you only need nighttime coverage, overnight care may be a better fit.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this live-in care or shift-based care?
Mae’s Grace provides shift-based coverage, commonly with two caregivers covering 12-hour day and night shifts. Families often describe it as live-in-style coverage because it provides consistent around-the-clock support without gaps.
What does 24-hour care include?
Support may include safety supervision, toileting and routine support, meal support, hydration reminders, light household resets, mobility support, calm redirection, and overnight routines. Mae’s Grace provides non-medical support, not skilled nursing services.
Can you support residents in senior living communities?
Yes. Mae’s Grace can support many residents in independent living and assisted living settings, aligned with community policies and coordinated respectfully with staff.
Do you offer shorter coverage if we do not need 24 hours?
Yes. If you only need nights, overnight care may be a better fit. If you need short-term support after a hospital or rehab stay, after-hospital support may be more appropriate.
